    OUR TRAINERS

“NO MAN HAS THE RIGHT TO BE AN AMATEUR IN THE MATTER OF PHYSICAL TRAINING. IT IS A SHAME FOR A MAN TO GROW OLD WITHOUT SEEING THE BEAUTY AND STRENGTH OF WHICH HIS BODY IS CAPABLE.” - ARISTOTLE

I absolutely love being a bootcamp instructor and am passionate about fitness because I genuinely enjoy interacting with people. Win and win again: my “job” revolves around both these things. Working with people who are moving towards fitter, healthier and happier version of themselves is just a bonus. I stay in shape with a purpose and that’s what keeps me motivated.

Exercise has played a transformative role in my life – it has been crucial in helping me overcome a serious back injury. As a father of a young family it also gives me a lot more energy to function on a day-to-day level and to interact with my kids. They have a lot of energy, which I need to match. Feeling fit, healthy and strong gives me a lot of confidence that I carry around with myself 24/7. I’d like to pass that on to others!

I’m certified in kettlebells, boxing, powerbags, suspension training, Olympic lifting and more. I like functional fitness routines that mimic real life movements and strength needs.

Training with the Outdoor Squad is loads of fun but we practice what we preach – you’ll be doing the exact same workouts that we do ourselves. You’ll do things you never thought possible. You’ll be the person you knew you could be and I’m the right person to push and encourage you.

  • EDDIE THRAVES

"GET DOWN & GIVE ME… INFINITY!". - COLONEL OATES

Hi, I’m Eddie from sunny England. My passions are snowboarding, Chelsea FC (the best) travel and windsurfing.

My main passion in life is helping people to become the best version of themselves, and to live life free, with joy and peace.

After qualifying as a Master Trainer at the AIF, I worked at the Steiner Academy in London for 4 months and then worked on cruise lines. I’m qualified as a Yoga, Pilates, Spin, Boot camp instructor as well as learning extensively about nutrition and detoxification. I then furthered my learning into helping people by getting my diploma in counselling. I believe we are body, soul and spirit and that they are linked, and that when one is out of sync they all can be. So at the moment, I’m studying Pastoral care at a Church College here in Sydney. I really love helping people achieve their goals in whatever area in life.

  • RORY MORRIS

Originally hailing from the UK, I've had the privilege of teaching diverse exercise classes across the UAE, Asia, the UK, and presently in Australia. During my tenure as the lead trainer and founder of Urban Active in Hong Kong, I honed my skills in Bootcamp-style classes, accommodating over 50 participants per session.

Subsequently, I transitioned to the role of Vice President of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Liverpool, where I continued to impart knowledge and lead impactful sessions.

My approach to training is characterised by an avid exploration of various exercise modalities, ranging from yoga to powerlifting.

This constant exploration allows me to deepen my understanding of exercise and overall well-being. Specialising in endurance, calisthenics, and gymnastic-style training, coupled with a penchant for HIIT workouts, earned me the moniker "Duracell" during my tenure at the University of Liverpool.
